On March 19, Leadership & Legacy at The Peacock becomes the stage for a powerful Women’s History Month gathering, and it’s shaping up to be one of those nights you’ll feel long after it ends.
This special event centers the voices, stories, and lived experiences of women who lead with intention and leave impact wherever they go. Expect an evening rooted in purpose-filled conversation, meaningful connection, and soul-stirring creative expression through music and poetry.
An Intimate Conversation with Kenya Dunn
At the heart of the evening is a dynamic conversation between Zandrina Dunning, Executive Artistic Director of The ZD Experience, and Kenya Dunn, Executive Leader and Founder of The P.O.W.E.R. Tribe Community. Together, they’ll explore leadership, community, and what it means to show up authentically in spaces that matter.
Kenya Dunn is best experienced, not just described. On paper, she’s a pillar in our community and a dynamic voice and leadership coach. Kenya brings clarity, courage, and lived experience to every room she enters. Her work challenges us to rethink leadership as something we embody daily—across career, family, community, and self.

Live Poetry by Jahipster
Adding another powerful layer to the night is live poetry from Tonya Matthews, performing under her artistic name Jahipster. Known for her leadership as CEO of the International African American Museum, Dr. Matthews brings a deeply personal and creative voice to the stage, bridging art, history, and lived experience.
