Zandrina’s love for people and life shines through her work, as she’s been involved in collaborative productions in Liberia, West Africa, and Havana Cuba. These experiences have enriched her musical journey, allowing her to transcend boundaries through the power of music.
As a single mom, Zandrina finds joy in her daughter, who is following in her footsteps. She’s proud to lead by example, showcasing the importance of pursuing one’s passions fearlessly.
In 2013, Zandrina formed The ZD Experience, a platform where she produces tribute shows to iconic artists like Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, Janet Jackson, and more.
Her performances alongside Grammy Award-winning artists, such as Charlton Singleton of Ranky Tanky, George Benson, and Hootie & The Blowfish, have solidified her place in the music world.
But her impact extends beyond the stage. In the Fall of 2020, Zandrina co-founded the P.U.R.E. Concert Series, aiming to spread Peace, Unity, and Revival through Entertainment. This one-of-a-kind concert series brings diverse audiences together to experience intimate musical moments with artists from various genres.
Within the Charleston County School District, Zandrina launched the Hall Pass program in 2022 in collaboration with Jazz musician David Patterson, enriching young minds with the power of music and creativity.
When not performing or producing, Zandrina can be found sharing her talents as the Program Coordinator for Ohm Radio (96.3FM), Charleston’s first community, commercial-free, non-profit radio station. She hosts The ZD Experience radio show, where she engages listeners with conversations and music that inspire the mind, body, and soul every Tuesday and Thursday at 12 noon.
