“So, let me tell you about my experience working with Zandrina Dunning.
I have known her for the past 20+ years. We grew up singing together and we’ve developed a bond like no other. She has been one of the most consistent persons in my life. She keeps me encouraged, she motivates me and she pushes me to be better and I appreciate her for that. I’ve worked with her on several occasions. Recently I worked with her by singing background for a couple of her productions that she did personally as well as the Aretha Franklin tribute and the Anita Baker tribute. When she reached out to me about doing a tribute concert, I was very skeptical because I had never done anything of that magnitude. So she pitched the idea of doing a tribute to Luther Vandross. I immediately told her to let me get back to her because I wanted to make sure that this was something that I could do and that I would do to the best of my ability. Needless to say, I told her yes and the rest is history. From the photo shoot, to the ending of the tribute concert, she made it so easy for me to do what I do. I had no issues with anything. Everything that she said she was going to do, she did it no matter what it took. I have sung background on many occasions, but she made me feel like a national recording artist. Anything I needed, or wanted she made happen. You don’t find people in the industry of being producers or managers that really take the time with artists to make sure that all of their needs are met before they get on the stage to perform. And I want to say to Zandrina, thank you for exemplifying first class service. I will ride with you until the wheels fall off and I cannot wait for the next tribute show. Thank you for all you do, thank you for who you are and most of all thank you for being genuine and making sure that music stays alive!”
