HEART SONGS: An Evening with Inspirational Soul Artist Kiwii Robinson

LaKecia Robinson, affectionately known as “Kiwi”, was raised to love God by a musically inclined family with her Grandfather, Rev. Edward McClain Jr. as her pastor. Her Grandfather “instilled the love of music in me at an early age (4yrs old) where I started off singing in the choir and then progressed to directing and teaching parts.”
As Kiwii grew older, her passion for music grew immensely and she learned through life’s experiences that music is a powerful, universal language. Music helps to bring solutions to many internal issues. It’s her Utopia.
As an artist, Kiwii’s goal has been to be able to connect with others through her vulnerability—to sing about her life’s experiences, spreading love, encouraging healing and inspiring positive change.
About the P.U.R.E. Concert Series
This series, which is an acronym for peace, unity, & revival through entertainment, was created in the Fall of 2020 by Concert Producer, Zandrina Dunning and Creative/Music Director, Stephen Washington to uplift and inspire our creative community and supporters of live music.
